Mustafa Tercan

CFO of Esas Holding

Mustafa Tercan, started his career in Deloitte Turkey, and later became a partner at the international audit company RSM Bentley Jennison, where he took part in mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration, projects on increasing productivity and profitability, and gave consultancy to many local and multinational companies and institutions.  He was part of Yıldız Holding since 2010, respectively acting as the General Manager and VP of Financial Affairs and serving as Global CFO of Yıldız Holding between 2015-2020.  He is currently the CFO of Esas Holding, one of the most prominent investment houses in Turkey. 

He is a graduate of Ankara University, Department of Economics in 1996, is also a Certified Public Accountant.

 

Perihan İnci

Board member of İnci Holding

Perihan İnci is currently acting as a board member of İnci Holding A.Ş., at which she has been the Chairwoman between 2013 and 2016. She is also a board member at Maxion-Jantaş A.Ş. and also the chairwoman of PBA İç ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş., which she has founded. 

She currently holds the Angel Investor Certificate and is actively supporting entrepreneurial initiatives around Industry 4.0 and Digitalization.  She is a member of TUSİAD, Women Corporate Directors (WCD), TKYD, TARKEM, and TAİDER.  She is the Head of Task Force at TUSİAD SD2, and an executive committee member of  DEİK Japanese Business Council. 

Perihan İnci speaks English and French, and she is a proud mom of a daughter and a son. 

Altuğ İnan

Altuğ İnan is the Group CFO of Access Turkey Capital Group and board member in portfolio companies.  Prior to Access Turkey, he was the managing director of Kodak Turkey, where he led the major restructuring projects of the multi business unit Turkish operations, which included a business unit spin-off and sale to a private equity firm. 

Before Kodak, he worked for Deloitte Assurance and Business Advisory department for 10 years in İstanbul and UK offices, where he was a Director for the last two years.  He had significant exposure in due diligence, company valuation, and privatization projects during his Deloitte period. 

Altuğ holds a BS degree in Business Administration (English) from Marmara University and is a Certified Public Accountant.  

Ozan Sönmez

Head of Growth for Global Innovation Catalyst

Ozan Sönmez is an angel investor, experienced startup mentor and an accelerator manager with +10 years of global experience in investing and building startup programs. He has built programs that invested to more than 20 Startups #globalturks in Silicon Valley. His investments were later accepted to 500 Startups, Techstars, Consensys, Hax and DU Ventures.

He is currently the Head of Growth for Global Innovation Catalyst, focusing on scaling experiential learning programs to foster innovation economy. He is a certified trainer by Stanford University Center for Professional Development. He is the head of EMEA Region for UC Berkeley’s Innovation Accelerator Group and he has contributed to the formation of the MIT Enterprise Forum’s Pre-Accelerator Bootcamp in MENA. He is currently launching the Founder Institute Regional Pre-Seed Accelerator targeting Startups from Turkey, Lebanon, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, and Syria.

In 2019, he created the first Impact Focused Global Startup Accelerator for UN Development Program in partnership with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and World Food Program based out of Turkey. He has built multiple Intellectual/Science and Topic based Startup Accelerators in Middle East and Turkey. He has built a mentorship program for NY Based Building Markets that targets Refugee Built Small and Medium Businesses.

Founding Partner at Moroğlu Arseven 

Benan Arseven is one of the Founding Partners of Moroğlu Arseven which is among the most prominent law firms in Turkey. He has more than 26 years of experience advising clients in corporate and commercial law, corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures, along with corporate counselling, regulatory compliance, litigation, dispute resolution and employment matters of a diverse client base covering major foreign, domestic and multinational Fortune 500 companies.  Throughout his career, Benan has been an expert consulting counsel to in-house corporate legal teams of household-name companies around the world. He has been ranked as “Leading Individual” by the Legal 500 in its 2022 research, for Corporate and M&A practice since 2014, and as “Recommended Lawyer” by the Legal 500 in its 2022 research, for dispute resolution, compliance employment practices.

Benan has a Law degree from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law and was admitted to Istanbul Bar Association and Turkish Patent and Trademark Office as Trademark Attorney in 1997. He is a member of the International Bar Association, International Sports Lawyers Association, Union Internationale des Avocats, TUSIAD and AmCham, acting as the Audit Committee member.  Benan actively serves in TUSIAD’s Industrial Policies and Investment Environment; Energy, Environment and Climate Change; Entrepreneurship and Youth roundtables.
